fundraiser: Change the world
Ten dollars can save a life!
We are having a coin competition to see who can raise more money to fight malaria in our district - girls or boys?
All Central-East youth groups and churches are invited to participate in this competition by holding a drive in their own church to raise money for Imagine No Malaria.

All Central-East youth groups and churches are invited to participate in this competition by holding a drive in their own church to raise money for Imagine No Malaria.
How to Play
- Each team has its own money jar in which to collect as many points as possible.
The Strategy: Put pennies and paper money in your team's jar and put silver-colored coins in your opponent's jar.
Positive Points
Penny = +1 point Paper money = + penny value ($1 bill = 100 points) |
Negative Points
Nickel = - 5 points Dime = - 10 points Quarter = - 25 points |
2. Money can be added to the jars at times your church designates.
3. You may donate your own money and ask others to donate. Be sure to recruit adults and children at church to put money
in your team's jar each week.
If your neighbors, friends, or relatives want to donate, ask them to write a check to Imagine No Malaria.
4. Tally the points each week and post and which team is winning at your church. Click here to post progress on our blog.
5. The competition ends October 4.
A special prize will be awarded to the winning team (girls or boys) at the Imagine No Malaria retreat!
Churches should deposit their donations weekly. Use the change record to track your points and income each week.
At the end of the fundraiser, each church should submit a check (or checks) directly to Imagine No Malaria for the total amount of their donations collected. (Do not bring your jar of coins and cash to the Lock-In.)
